I genuinely cannot express how much I appreciated the support and professionalism from John Gray and Co when my beloved late-father recently passed.
From the initial phone call to the days after Dad was laid to rest I am so profoundly grateful for the help and advice- particularly from Anne-Marie and Paul who I dealt with most.
Dad was of a slightly different Faith to me, and it struck me as so kind that Anne-Marie took a huge amount of time, even after normal working hours, to advise me on the logistics of Dad's funeral service as it would of course be slightly different to what I would have known.
All my, many, questions were always answered accurately and quickly; and I was kept fully aware at all times of updates right from Dad being received by John Gray staff to being laid to rest.
It is a very tight line to walk between professionalism and over-familiarity, but John Gray walked it perfectly.
Of course a phone call to any funeral director is a call no-one wants to make, but I would have absolutely zero reservations in recommending John Gray and Co to anyone when the sad time comes.

I would like to thank Anne Marie and team for looking after myself and my brother while dealing with the recent loss of our father. Their thoughtfulness and support was amazing. The care they took looking after my mother in 2024 and then my father recently. We felt truly supported and they worked with us to make sure both my mother and fathers wishes were met. They guided us when we weren't really sure what do. They are an amazing team. The respect they give you is above and beyond.

We can’t thank Anne Marie, Liam and the whole team enough for their care and support around my dad’s funeral. From the very beginning, Anne Marie was kind, patient and incredibly organised, and the way she gently guided my mum through each step made a really difficult time much easier to bear.

On the day of the funeral, Liam and his team were calm, respectful and highly professional. Everything was carried out with such dignity and thoughtfulness that we never had to worry about a thing - we were simply able to focus on saying goodbye.

We are deeply grateful for their compassion and the exceptional service they provided, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Ann-Marie was great in dealing with what is our first direct death in the family giving compassionate support and valuable advice. Paul was very professional and extremely helpful in making sure the funnel went according to plan. Both are to be highly praised on their empathy and valuable advice, making a difficult experience more bearable. Mike Smith was outstanding, he handled our arrangements right from initial contact through to the funeral itself and made sure we were kept fully informed throughout. We really appreciated his professionalism and that he really cares about the job he’s doing and the people he’s serving.
